about
I’m a backend-focused software engineer working primarily in C# and .NET. I design and build the parts of a product users never see but always feel — the APIs, data layers, and services that have to stay correct and fast while everything around them keeps changing.
I care about the craft under the surface: clean data access, architecture that ages well, and libraries that make the next feature easier to write. I’ve built everything from a modular school-management platform used by real institutions to small, dependency-light libraries other developers can drop straight into their own projects.
I’m drawn to hard backend problems — distributed systems, performance, and API design — and to teams that hold a high bar for engineering. I’m currently looking for senior backend roles where I can own meaningful systems end to end.

Designed and implemented the Videcom integration, connecting our platform with legacy airline reservation systems.
Rebuilt and modernised the WPF desktop application powering our InSight PACS medical image management platform.
Designed and built a database-backed virtual file system — the first of its kind in our desktop software — using the Dokan user-mode file-system library.
Designed and implemented the self-service circulation desk for our library OPAC (online public-access catalogue) system.
projects
A Roslyn-based CLI that works out what a change actually affects. It resolves the call graph above every changed method — transitively, and through interface and base-class dispatch, which is how DI code really calls things — then rolls the result up into affected projects and the entry points nothing else calls, ranked by fan-out. Writes a Markdown report for the pull request. MIT, with unit tests and CI.
A multi-tenant booking platform for appointment businesses, live and taking real bookings. Each business is isolated on its own subdomain in its own branding, with a Stripe deposit taken at the point of booking. .NET 10 and Angular over Postgres, with OpenIddict-issued OAuth 2.0 / OIDC identity, S3-compatible object storage for ID documents, and images built by CI and deployed behind Caddy.
A school management information system (MIS) for UK schools, built on .NET 8, SQL Server, and Angular. Modular and secure by design, a flexible alternative to the legacy systems schools are stuck with. Full-stack, but backend-heavy on architecture, data, and security.
A lightweight, dependency-light SQL builder and CRUD toolkit for Dapper. Dialect-aware, attribute-friendly, zero ceremony — the data-access layer I wanted, packaged for anyone to use (with a companion QueryKit.Repositories for repository patterns).
A .NET API wrapper for GNU Health, the open-source hospital and health-information system — putting a clean, typed C# interface over a large existing platform so .NET apps can integrate with it easily.
A modern .NET library for geospatial math — distance, bearing, movement, and polygon calculations. Small, well-tested, and easy to reason about: a study in clean library design and correct algorithms.
